🚶‍♀️ Join us for a Weekend Wander! 🌿🌊

Our Weekend Wanders are a series of free monthly adventures, exploring the incredible coast and countryside around Bude.

Starting and finishing at The 2 Minute Foundation HQ, each wander is a little different. From coastal walks and wildlife spotting to seasonal discoveries, conservation activities and hidden local gems, every month offers a new way to connect with nature and your local community.

Whether you’re joining us for the first time or have wandered with us before, everyone is welcome. Come along, meet like-minded people, enjoy some fresh air and discover something new along the way.

Our Weekend Wanders are completely free and open to everyone. Children are very welcome but must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

This month’s adventure: THE MCS BIG BEACH CLEAN!

Whether you can spare 10 minutes or stay for the whole session, every piece of litter collected makes a difference. Beach cleans are a great way to get outdoors, meet like-minded people, and make a visible difference to our local environment, and this one is even more special as we will be collecting data that feeds into the Marine Conservations Societys yearly survey.

 Meeting point: Crooklets beach – on the right hand side near the surf club (look out for our big whale flag!)  Time: 11-1 pm

How the afternoon looks:

11:00–11:30pm – Arrive, say hello and collect your equipment and get briefed on the survey technique

11:30–12:30pm – Beach clean.

12:30–1:00pm – Sort the litter, see what we’ve found, and stick around for a chat.

We’ll provide:  All the equipment you need  Coastal facts, wildlife information and beach clean tips  A friendly welcome

Just bring yourself, dress for the weather, and wear suitable footwear.

Everyone is welcome, and no experience is needed. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Come along and be part of something bigger. Together, we’ll help keep Cornwall’s coastline beautiful – one beach, one bag, and one small action at a time.
