HAVE YOU GOT 2 MINUTES? You can take quick action here

2 Minutes of Positivity

Take 2 minutes for you – because small moments of care create big change for people and planet

What is 2 Minutes of Positivity?

2 Minutes of Positivity is about taking a moment for yourself, because caring for the planet starts with caring for you. Whether it’s a quick walk, reading a few pages, sea swimming, or simply pausing to breathe, this is your time. Small acts of self-care boost well-being and remind us that positive actions – however small – can make a big impact, for both people and planet.

Finding the Positives

The world can feel overwhelming but small shifts in focus can make a big difference. While we can’t fix everything, we can shape our own outlook. Take a moment to notice what’s good around you: fresh air, kindness, nature, laughter. The more we seek out the positives, the more we find and the more our outlook shifts. And then positivity starts to grow.

Why Belief Matters?

Believing we can make a difference is the first step to real change. It drives action, builds momentum, and inspires others. One person picking up litter might seem small, but add enough people and it becomes a movement. Change takes time, but belief gives it power.
Whether it’s reducing plastic use or helping others, our individual actions collectively shape a brighter, more hopeful future for ourselves, our communities, and our planet.

What is Eco-Anxiety All About?

Eco-anxiety is the worry we feel about the planet’s future—from climate change to pollution. It’s a sign that we care deeply. While it can feel overwhelming, small actions help. Beach cleans, litter picks, mindful choices, or simply spending time connecting with nature can turn concern into purpose. Taking action, however small, is a powerful way to protect both the planet and our mental wellbeing.

Is it just us or are we seeing more and more donations being left outside of the clothing donation banks? We know it can be frustrating when the clothing banks are full but don’t let your kind gesture of donating go to waste!

It was great to have Matt @oneblueeyecornwall from join us this week at HQ!

We were joined by lots of enthusiastic people; eager to take waste off our beaches and turn plastic into treasured key rings.

Matt’s workshop really shone a light on the issue of plastic pollution and how he has tackled it in his own way through his work. We absolutely loved having our new home busy with visitors learning, working and contributing towards a cleaner planet.

Thank you Matt, and we look forward to seeing you again in the near future.

Let us know if you came to one of our sessions, we’d love to know what you enjoyed most about the workshop!

Have You got 2 Minutes ?

#2MINUTEBEACHCLEAN

Launched in 2013 as a simple hashtag, the #2MinuteBeachClean campaign inspires coastal communities to spend just 2 minutes picking up litter and keeping beaches beautiful. It’s a quick, impactful way for everyone to protect their local coastline.

#2MINUTELITTERPICK

The #2MinuteLitterPick campaign empowers everyone to care for their local spaces—whether it’s a street, park, or woodland. Since all litter eventually makes its way to the ocean, picking up trash on land is crucial for protecting our waterways and marine life.

#2MINUTESOFPOSITIVITY

The #2MinutesOfPositivity campaign is about taking 2 minutes to boost your well-being while supporting the planet. Whether it’s reading a few pages of your favorite book, meditating, or simply pausing to appreciate nature, these small moments make a big difference for you and the planet.

#2MINUTESOLUTION

The #2MinuteSolution campaign champions small changes that add up to make a big impact. It encourages our community to share sustainable swaps they’ve made to reduce waste, cut down on single-use plastics, and shrink their carbon footprint.
