Our Weekend Wanders are a series of free monthly adventures, exploring the incredible coast and countryside around Bude.

Starting and finishing at The 2 Minute Foundation HQ, each wander is a little different. From coastal walks and wildlife spotting to seasonal discoveries, conservation activities and hidden local gems, every month offers a new way to connect with nature and your local community.

Whether you’re joining us for the first time or have wandered with us before, everyone is welcome. Come along, meet like-minded people, enjoy some fresh air and discover something new along the way.

Our Weekend Wanders are completely free and open to everyone. Children are very welcome but must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

🎅  This month’s adventure: CHRISTMAS CRAFTING

Get into the festive spirit with a cosy morning of nature-inspired Christmas crafting.

🍂 We’ll begin with a gentle wander around Bude, gathering natural treasures and seasonal inspiration before heading back to The 2 Minute Foundation HQ to get creative.

Using natural and sustainably sourced materials, we’ll make a selection of beautiful handmade Christmas decorations and thoughtful festive gifts. Think wreaths, ornaments, garlands and other simple creations inspired by the coast and countryside.

No crafting experience is needed! We’ll provide all the materials, ideas and guidance, you just need to bring your festive spirit.

☕ Warm up with a hot drink, enjoy some festive treats , and soak up the Christmas atmosphere back at HQ.

Whether you’re making decorations for your own home or creating heartfelt handmade gifts, you’ll leave with unique creations, festive inspiration and a little Christmas magic 🎁
