Our Weekend Wanders are a series of free monthly adventures, exploring the incredible coast and countryside around Bude.

Starting and finishing at The 2 Minute Foundation HQ, each wander is a little different. From coastal walks and wildlife spotting to seasonal discoveries, conservation activities and hidden local gems, every month offers a new way to connect with nature and your local community.

Whether you’re joining us for the first time or have wandered with us before, everyone is welcome. Come along, meet like-minded people, enjoy some fresh air and discover something new along the way.

Our Weekend Wanders are completely free and open to everyone. Children are very welcome but must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

💎  This month’s adventure: SEAGLASS HUNTING AND CRAFTING

🏖️ Join us for a relaxing coastal adventure as we search the shoreline for beautiful pieces of sea glass before heading back to The 2 Minute Foundation HQ to turn our finds into simple keepsakes.

We’ll begin with a gentle beach wander, learning where sea glass comes from, how it’s shaped by the sea, and what makes each piece so unique. Then we’ll return to HQ, or if the weather is kind we will set up on the beach for a relaxed crafting session, where you can transform your treasures into something special to take home.

🎨 No creative experience is needed! We’ll provide all the crafting materials and plenty of guidance, so whether you’re a seasoned maker or haven’t picked up glue in years, you’ll be in good hands.

This is a chance to slow down, enjoy the coastline, get creative, and spend time with like-minded people.
