The World’s Toughest Row is exactly what it sounds like – the premier event in ocean rowing and one of the most demanding physical and mental challenges on the planet. This December, rowers from around the world will set off from San Sebastian in La Gomera, Canary Islands, and travel over 3,000 miles west across the Atlantic to Nelson’s Dockyard in Antigua and Barbuda.
And among them will be Milli, taking on this epic journey completely solo.
Over the course of the crossing, she’ll face relentless weather, powerful swells, exhausting days, and long nights on an open ocean — all while pushing her body and mind to their absolute limits. It’s a challenge few people on Earth will ever attempt, let alone complete.
But Milli isn’t just rowing for herself.
She’s using her journey to raise money for two brilliant charities — and we’re incredibly proud that The 2 Minute Foundation is one of them.
Curious about Milli and what drives her? Claire met up with Milli to get answers to all the questions you’ve been itching to ask. Check out our Milli Mondays over on Instagram for the latest updates and behind-the-scenes insights from her training and journey.

We’d love our whole community to get behind her as she prepares to launch in just under three weeks.
Visit her website to learn more about her story, her training, and her mission — and to follow her journey live once she sets off.
