WHY ARE WE HERE: We are here to take action for ocean health. Microscopic algae produce every second breath of oxygen we need and its inhabitants collect and store carbon. Healthy thriving oceans are paramount to the health of our planet so we want to change more mindsets towards litter and plastic pollution.

2 MINUTE CAMPAIGNS

#2MinuteBeachClean

Our first 2 Minute campaign which started back in 2013 from a simple hashtag, our 2 minute beach clean campaign encourages those who live near the ocean to take 2 minutes to clean up their beloved beaches and coastline. 

#2MINUTELITTERPICK

The 2 Minute Litter Pick campaign encourages those to protect and nurture their local area, whether that is the street that they live on, their favourite park or woodland area. All litter leads to the ocean so litter picking in land is vital to protect our oceans and water ways.

#2MINUTESOFPOSITIVITY

We know that getting outdoors and doing something planet positive is fantastic for our well-being. Our 2 Minutes Of Positivity campaign is all around taking 2 minutes for yourself, as well as supporting the planet. Reading a few pages of your favourite book, meditating, whatever brings you that little boost of positivity.

#2MINUTESOLUTION

We believe that the little changes all add up to make a BIG difference. Our #2MinuteSolution campaign empowers our community to share the sustainable swaps they have made to lessen their carbon footprint, reduce waste or single-use plastic use.

We educate the general public about the dangers of plastic pollution and litter through online campaigns, partnering with businesses, direct action, books, educational visits, CSR volunteering, talks and our 2 Minute Beach School.
